Storm Update

The wind storm that we have been experiencing for the past 24 hours has finally done some damage. We lost these two trees in the last 3 hours. The first one is on the right side of 2 fairway and the other tree on Edmonds Avenue. We will get them all cleaned up as soon as possible.

18 Pond

The snow the other day slowed us down for 24 hours but now we are off and running! As you can see in the picture, the left side of the pond wall is getting close to being fully restored. We are only using the original stone that is on site to keep it looking like it did in the past. We have some more research to do yet but we think the wall is at least 100 years old!

18 Pond

As you can see in the picture, this was the original wall that was covered by the concrete. We are in the process of power washing it and then it will be re-pointed. The back side of the wall will have a layer of concrete applied to insure it does not leak in the future.

18 Pond Update

As you can see, we have started the pond project. We drained the pond on Thursday and Friday. Now we are working to remove all the concrete around the spill way. We discovered a beautiful stone wall underneath the concrete. We are trying to restore that instead of building a new one. Will be giving more updates later this week!

Snow but melting and Oh, the Pond!

Yesterday, we were out on the course to check on the snow and it was great to see the City of Philadelphia Skyline!. The snow is melting quickly but it will be very wet afterwards. We are working on some drain work on 11 and 1 today. In other developments, we will be starting the restoration of 18 pond late this week or beginning next week, dependent on weather. We will be sending updates as we progress.
