The Fan

With all this hot and muggy weather, we had to start running the fan on #18 green. It is on a timer to be off around 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Since its installation, the fan has contributed to the overall health of the green. The gentle breeze reduces the temperature enough to help the bentgrass through the summer.

Restoration Update

Today marks the beginning of mobilization of equipment on # 8 for the upcoming restoration. Our golf course contractor is Total Turf and with golf course architect Brian Schneider from Renaissance Golf, they will be teaming up to open a new chapter in Llanerch's storied history.
