Golf Course Update

It has been a busy couple weeks since my last post. We have spent the the time aerifying tees and approaches again, establishing more fescue in the native areas, planting trees and seeding the rough. We also just trimmed some pine trees along West Chester Pike, the two sycamore by the putting green and center circle and spruces by 2 tee.
The next few weeks will feature some bunker edging, more tree trimming and topdressing tees and approaches. It seems we might seeing the trees drop their leaves about ten day earlier than normal. I hope to see you on the course!

With the help of architects Brian and Blake, we are now seeing what the new bunkers look like. This one is on 10 green right side. They will not have the fescue "eyebrow" we have had in the past. For more updates, please follow me @BrendanJByrne01 on Twitter.

Today marks the beginning of mobilization of equipment on # 8 for the upcoming restoration. Our golf course contractor is Total Turf and with golf course architect Brian Schneider from Renaissance Golf, they will be teaming up to open a new chapter in Llanerch's storied history.
