Golf Course Update

Yesterday, we received 1.5 inches of rain! The course weathered the storm very well! We had almost no washouts of sand in the bunkers! We had some standing water in a couple of fairways but drained enough to get carts out around 11:45am. The bigger surprise is just how cold it is outside. We were at 28 degrees this morning with a wind chill of 20 degrees! Looks like we will have some cold morning for the next few days. If you are planning to come out and play early, don't be surprised by a frost delay. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that we can say "goodbye" to frost and "hello" to a warm dry spring!

With the help of architects Brian and Blake, we are now seeing what the new bunkers look like. This one is on 10 green right side. They will not have the fescue "eyebrow" we have had in the past. For more updates, please follow me @BrendanJByrne01 on Twitter.

Restoration Update

Today marks the beginning of mobilization of equipment on # 8 for the upcoming restoration. Our golf course contractor is Total Turf and with golf course architect Brian Schneider from Renaissance Golf, they will be teaming up to open a new chapter in Llanerch's storied history.
